ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Popcorn, Indiana is looking to grow the popcorn snacks category with the launch of Popcorn Bars, an item the company claims is the “first-ever crispy popcorn bar.” The bars are expected to debut in select Wal-Mart stores in March, with other retailers to follow.

“We constantly push ourselves every day — past the frontier of the expected — into exceptional snacking realms that have never been explored,” said Hitesh Hajarnavis, chief executive officer of Popcorn, Indiana. “Our team is excited to invite our friends to try a new way of enjoying their favorite snack.”

The Popcorn Bars contain 100 calories per bar and are available in both chocolate fudge and Chocolate Lovers’ flavors. They are made with non-bioengineered ingredients.
