CAMDEN, N.J. — Daniel Saw has been named president — Asia for Campbell Soup Co., effective May 1. He will oversee the company’s business in Asia, including Greater China, the Campbell-Swire joint venture and Campbell’s operations in Hong Kong. Mr. Saw will be based in Campbell’s Hong Kong offices.
Mr. Saw previously worked for Lee Kum Kee, a 124-year-old Chinese company that manufactures Asian condiments, including chili, oysters and soy sauces. He was chief executive officer since 2009 and also was a member of Lee Kum Kee’s board of directors. Mr. Saw also previously was president of the company’s China region. Under his leadership, Lee Kum Kee’s sales in China tripled from 2007 to 2011.
During his career of more than 30 years, Mr. Saw has held a range of senior leadership and sales and marketing positions with Philip Morris, Kraft Foods Inc. and Cadbury in China, Taiwan and Indonesia.
