CHICAGO — Barry Callebaut has completed expansion investments in three of its North American facilities. The investments in total amount to about $30 million.
In St. Hyacinthe, Que., the company has added a liquid chocolate line and enhanced capabilities for producing dairy-free chocolate. In Chatham, Ont., Barry Callebaut has added liquid storage capacity to expand the variety of products available to customers. In St. Albans, Vt., the company has expended the building footprint and enhanced its capabilities for making colored and flavored compounds, among other investments.
