COPENHAGEN, DENMARK — Lantmännen Unibake, an international bakery company with 35 bakeries around the world, has agreed to acquire Bakery Du Jour, an Australian-based pastry maker. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Bakery Du Jour has 90 employees and supplies premium pastry products to major Australian retailers and food service customers.

The acquisition of Bakery Du Jour is expected to build on Lantmännen’s efforts to expand its global footprint.
