WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Dewey’s Bakery is expanding its product lineup with the launch of a new “soft baked” cookie collection, a line of snack crackers and Moravian-style cookie thins.

The Soft Baked cookie line features five varieties: lemon bar, triple chocolate brownie, Old Fashioned Glazed Doughnut, Southern Style chocolate chip and cinnamon bun.

“Think of our Soft Baked line as cookies reimagined, with iconic taste treats reintroduced in the form of All American cookies, including lemon bar, triple chocolate brownie, Old Fashioned Glazed Doughnut, cinnamon bun and Southern Style chocolate chip made with real brown butter,” said Scott Livengood, owner and chief executive officer of Dewey’s Bakery. “Our new soft-baked cookies were specifically intended to evoke happy memories. And we’re proud to be able to introduce a beloved Winston-Salem institution to the rest of the U.S.”

In addition to the soft baked cookies, Dewey’s is introducing snack crackers in flavors such as sharp aged cheddar, chipotle cheddar cornbread, Carolina-style barbecue and tomato basil.

New Moravian-style cookie thins will be available in Meyer lemon, brownie crisp, triple ginger and salted caramel.

Dewey’s Bakery said all three product lines are free of artificial flavors, synthetic colors, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, high-fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.
