Expanding its cast of baked foods, Angelic Bakehouse is unveiling Garden Wraps at Natural Products Expo West. Available in Vibrant Beet, Turmeric Sweet Potato and Spring Kale Spinach, the wraps are made with a 7-grain blend of non-G.M.O. sprouted and fresh pressed grains. The items have a suggested retail price of $4.49 and contain six wraps per 9-oz package. The wraps are kosher and vegan.
Kidfresh is unveiling a new lineup of better-for-you waffles in three varieties: Homestyle, blueberry and chocolate chip. The breakfast products contain 8 grams of protein, 5 grams of whole grains and 16 different vitamins and minerals per serving. The waffles also contain butternut squash for added nutritional value and do not contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Sanissimo, a Grupo Bimbo brand is showcasing Salmas and Salmitas. The range of oven baked corn crackers are made with four non-G.M.O., gluten-free ingredients: whole grain corn flour, salt, slaked lime and tocopherols. The products do not contain artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or added sugars. Salmas are available in a box of eight individually wrapped packages that each contain three crackers while Salmitas are bite-sized crackers made for dipping and snacking.
Calbee North America is launching Popper Duos under its Honestly Veggie brand at the show. Made from peas, lentils and black beans, the baked snacks contain four to five grams of protein per 1-oz serving. Popper Duos are available in Mac & Cheese, BBQ & Ranch and Zesty Queso flavors.
ParmCrisps is adding a new flavor to its lineup: Brick-Oven Pizza. The gluten-free, Keto-friendly, low-carb snack combines Parmesan, mozzarella, turkey pepperoni and tomato into one bite. Pizza-flavored ParmCrisps are oven baked and made with Wisconsin cheeses. The turkey pepperoni that is incorporated into each crisp is all natural and antibiotic-free. The product has a suggested retail price of $34.99 per 12-pack case.
The makers of Flackers flaxseed crackers are expanding their plant-based cracker line with the introduction of Flackers Toasted Seed Crisps. Doctor In the Kitchen’s newest products are available in three varieties — hemp seed and Hatch green chile, black sesame seed and black pepper and quinoa — and feature organic flaxseed and finely shredded unsweetened coconut. The crisps are low-carb, certified gluten-free and contain up to seven grams of fiber and up to six grams of protein per serving.
Simple Mills is rolling out a modern take on brownies at Expo West. The company’s Almond Flour Brownie Mix replaces the traditional white flour typically used in brownies. The product also includes organic coconut sugar, chocolate chips, Dutch cocoa powder, tapioca starch, arrowroot, sea salt and baking soda. Available online this month and in retailers later this year, the mix has a suggested retail price of $7.99 per 12.9-oz box, enough to make up to 16 brownies.
Snack maker Epic Provisions, a subsidiary of General Mills, Inc., is adding a new line to its product portfolio. The Rise & Grind Bar is available in two flavors: Bacon & Egg Yolks and Egg Yolks & Apple. The bars are made with organic egg yolks and antibiotic-free pork and chicken. The bars will launch nationwide in June.
The brand also is rolling out five other additions to its current offerings, including Bison and Chicken Sriracha Snack Strips, Cinnamon Churro Baked Pork Rinds, Jalapeño Pork Cracklings and Performance Coconut Lime Bars.

Part of the Simply 7 with Giada line, the popcorn is made with non-G.M.O. blue and/or red popcorn and packed with the flavors of tomatoes, mozzarella and herbs. The snack has a suggested retail price of $2.99 to $3.49 per 4.4-oz bag.
Emmy’s Organics is launching Chocolate Covered Cookie Bites in two flavors: mint and peanut butter. The sweet snacks contain bites of coconut cookie dough covered in dark chocolate. The products are also certified U.S.D.A. organic, vegan and free from G.M.O.’s, gluten and grains. Chocolate Covered Cookies Bites have a suggested retail price of $4.99 for each 8-cookie resealable pouch.
Beanfields is showcasing its latest flavor additions at the show. Jalapeño Lime, Spicy Queso, Himalayan Pink Salt, Himalayan Salt and Vinegar and Cheddar Sour Cream are now part of its bean chip portfolio. Made with beans and brown rice, the chips contain four grams of protein and four grams of fiber. The snack is vegan, certified gluten-free, Non-GMO Project verified and kosher.
