Bimbo Bakeries USA
Bimbo Bakeries USA is supersizing its Thomas’ English Muffins with the release of Thomas’ King Size English Muffins. A large version of the breakfast staple, the new English muffins were designed to accommodate more toppings and be used as buns.
Campbell Soup Co.
The Campbell Soup Co.’s Lance brand is launching a bite-size version of its sandwich crackers. New Lance Minis come in two variations: Toast Chee Peanut Butter, featuring peanut butter sandwiched between two cheese-flavored crackers; and Whole Wheat Peanut Butter, featuring peanut butter sandwiched between two whole wheat crackers. The snacks are available in a 12-count multipack, an 8.5-oz shareable box and in 2.5-oz single-serve packages.
Flowers Foods, Inc.
Flowers Foods, Inc. has unveiled the second phase of its Tastykake Scoop Shop line. New Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwiches feature a mint ice cream flavored crème sandwiched between two soft chocolate cookies studded with chocolate chips.
Mondelez International, Inc.
Mondelez International, Inc. is launching a new line of Triscuit crackers featuring seeds that are woven together with shredded wheat and then baked. The new “Woven With Seeds” Triscuit line is debuting with three varieties: Woven with Poppy Seeds Garlic & Onion, Woven with Quinoa Seeds Basil & Garlic, and Woven with Chia Seeds Rosemary & Jalapeño. Baked with 100% whole grain wheat, the crackers contain 120 calories per 6-cracker serving and are Non-GMO Project verified.
Continental Mills, Inc.
Continental Mills, Inc. is adding four new gluten-free baking mixes to its Krusteaz portfolio. Each certified gluten-free mix requires the addition of only three ingredients. Varieties include yellow cake mix, chocolate cake mix, chocolate chip cookie mix and confetti buttermilk pancake mix.
Kellogg Co.
The Kellogg Co. is adding a new variety to its lineup of Keebler Town House crackers. New Garlic Herb FlipSides crackers feature pretzel on one side and crispy cracker on the other with a buttery garlic flavor all over. The oven-baked snacks contain 70 calories per six-cracker serving.
Native State Foods
Native State Foods is launching its new line of Breakfast Energy Bites. The plant-based bites feature a blend of herbs, seeds, fruits and nuts wrapped in dates with roasted almond butter inside. Containing adaptogens such as maca, turmeric, sacha inci and pepitas, the bites are organic, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and kosher. Native State Foods’ Breakfast Energy Bites are available three flavors: Goji Berry Chia, Cacao Coconut, and Blueberry Ginger.
