New equipment, product designs and processes recognized by U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
A small, round cake with sprinkles and icing dripping down its side is shown in this patent.
US Patent No. D855,933 (Aug. 13, 2019), E. Mockler, assigned to Edible IP, LLC, Atlanta.
This patent displays a long, round hot dog bun in a “C” shape.
US Patent No. D855,932 (Aug. 13, 2019), K Kirkham, Payson, Utah.
Using an existing cold room in a bakery minimizes assembly operations when dispensing liquid yeast. The dispenser has an inner circuit mounted on a refrigerated chamber with an inner panel. A metering table receives a vessel that is filled with liquid yeast. The inner and outer panel are attached and sandwiched onto the wall of the refrigerated chamber to contain the vessel.
US Patent No. 10,375,967 (Aug. 13, 2019), F. Picavet, assigned to Lesaffre ET Co., Paris.
A process for producing a shaped snack chip, this invention includes a shaping oven with a convex mold and chain edge conveyor that has transverse slats and at least one spring fixed to the slats. The oven converts dough pieces into preforms — smooth or wavy — which can be further dehydrated. In one option, the steps include sheeting a masa, potato flake or wheat-based dough.
US Patent No. 10,375,968 (Aug. 13, 2019), T. Johnson et al., assigned to Frito-Lay North America, Inc., Plano, Texas.
To control dough leakage, a rounder bar can have a blade with zonal adjustments. A blade in continuous contact with a conveyor forms the dough into various shapes. A footer on the rounder bar has a variety of adjustment tools for certain zones that connect to a corresponding locking plate, which is within a recess in the blade, and responds to the rotation in a particular zone.
US Patent No. 10,383,340 (Aug. 20, 2019), H. Freed, assigned to Machine Specialties, Inc., Ashland, Va.
This equipment gradually spreads dough to make it thinner by sending it through multiple rollers arranged in a V-shape to avoid internal stress from repeating compressions. Adjusting the distance between a pair of vibration applications within the rollers allows them to move in a longitudinal direction as they approach and separate each other.
US Patent No. 10,383,341 (Aug. 20, 2019), M. Morikawa et al., assigned to Rheon Automatic Machinery Co., Tochigi, Japan.
During oil production, rapeseed proteins can be used in a variety of applications, including bakery items. To obtain a mixture of the rapeseed proteins napid and cruciferin in pure form from rapeseed meal, an extraction medium purifies the desired proteins from the raw extract through steps at defined pH levels. The high-purity protein does not alter or negatively affect the taste of the baked good.
US Patent No. 10,383,345 (Aug. 20, 2019), A. Reinhart et al., assigned to Haas Food Equipment GmbH, Vienna.
For bread, cakes, pies, muffins, tarts, pastries, snack bars, pizza, cookies, chips, crackers and more, this method applies lactic acid-producing bacteria to a formula. Specifically, the composition uses an edible starch and isolated Bacillus coagulans bacterium to put probiotic bacterial spores into baked products. The formulation can also have a fat such as oil, butter, shortening, synthetic fat, fat substitute or an artificial lipid. Another option is the incorporation of sugar, a sugar substitute or an artificial sweetener.
US Patent No. 10,383,342 (Aug. 20, 2019), S. Farmer et al., assigned to Ganeden Biotech, Inc., Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
An apple donut with a coating and sprinkles is shown in this patent.
US Patent No. D857,331 (Aug. 27, 2019), C. Mockler, assigned to Edible IP, LLC, Wallingford, Conn.
This dough preparation device has a power unit, rotational speed mechanism, and a helical screw shaft that extends into a dough chamber. The dough is compressed, pushed through the rotation and discharged out of a jet nozzle mounted on the chamber. An auxiliary dough driver connects to the chamber and includes two opposite movable blades that extend outward and retract in.
US Patent No. 10,390,537 (Aug. 27, 2019), L. Wang, assigned to Anko Food Machine Co., New Taipei, Taiwan.
