The Campbell Soup Co. is bringing some heat to its Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers brand with the launch of a new jalapeño popper variety. The company said the new flavor delivers “a bold, cheesy taste with a slight kick of heat.” Ingredients include cheddar cheese, buttermilk, spices, celery, paprika, onion, jalapeño puree, vinegar, sour cream and whole milk powder.

Nissin Foods is heating up its ramen portfolio with new Hot & Spicy Fire Wok Volcanic Mongolian Beef Ramen. The dish scores a six out of six on Nissin’s heat scale and features dried kimchi made with Chinese cabbage, chili powder, garlic, salt and ginger. The ramen also includes chicken broth, green onion, egg white, paprika, red pepper powder, sesame seeds, rice, soybeans, turmeric and spices. The Veggie Chili flavor features diced tomatoes, black beans, green peppers, red peppers, black barley, corn, whole grain spelt, soy protein, onions, jalapeño peppers, chipotle adobo puree, natural smoke flavor, cabbage, celery and paprika. Each bowl contains 200 calories, 13 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber.

The Cajun Style Chicken bowl is made with chicken, celery, green peppers, red peppers, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, toasted barley, kale, whole grain spelt, onions, carrots, cabbage, nonfat milk, garlic and paprika. Each bowl contains 180 calories, 13 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber.
