BUFFALO, N.Y. — Ted Rich has been named to the board of directors of Rich Products Corp., a move that Bob Rich, chairman of Rich Products, said “fulfills an important milestone in support of our family mandate to remain a private, family-owned company dedicated to long-term success.”

Ted Rich earlier this year was named to a new executive role: executive vice-president of organizational excellence. In that position, he has been charged with building the organization’s strategic capabilities and associate competencies as well as driving associate and leadership development, the company said. Ted Rich also will lead digital workplace advancement efforts.

Earlier, Ted Rich was senior vice-president and customer experience officer for Rich Products. Under his leadership, the company launched a refreshed Rich Products brand identity in 2018. He joined the company in 1995 and moved into U.S. food service sales in 1998. During his time with Rich Products, he has held various roles of increasing leadership, including as managing director of the company’s Europe and Middle East business from 2009-12.

“Ted has steadily immersed himself deep within the business for nearly 25 years,” said Mindy Rich, vice-chairman. “This position will allow Ted to bring critical insights from his broad range of disciplines to impact our work on the board.”
