Nature’s Own Hawaiian bread is described by the company as a “soft-baked, sweet fruit-forward loaf.”
The company describes the new sourdough loaf as “the perfect balance of softness and a true sourdough flavor.”
New from Sofrito Foods, LLC, the maker of Fillo’s beans and grains pouches, is a line of ready-to-eat, single-serve tamales developed for on-the-go consumption.
Available in six flavors, Walking Tamales are shelf-stable and designed to eat directly from the package but may be heated prior to eating.
Kellogg Co. brand Cheez-It is launching Cheez-It Snap’d Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar snacking crackers for a limited time this summer.
The hot cheddar flavor joins double cheese, cheddar sour cream and onion, jalapeño jack and barbecue varieties in the Snap’d product line.
Made with 100% real cheddar cheese, the hot cheddar crackers are spicy and garlicy, according to the company.
Canyon Bakehouse LLC, a subsidiary of Flowers Foods, Inc., has introduced new brioche-style sweet rolls under the Canyon Bakehouse brand.
The new 100% whole grain sweet rolls are gluten-free and free from dairy, nuts and soy.
The company describes the sweet rolls as “soft, rich and buttery.”
Barilla is expanding its one-ingredient pasta line with the introduction of chickpea penne.
The company’s new pasta is made from chickpeas and contains 19 grams of plant protein per a 3.5 oz serving. It is also gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO Project verified, according to the company.
Riviana Foods, Inc., a subsidiary of Madrid-based Ebro Foods, S.A., has added to its Minute Rice Cups product offering with the launch of two new varieties: jalapeño rice and jasmine rice and red quinoa.
Jalapeño rice offers a blend of onion, green peppers and jalapeños while jasmine rice and red quinoa features the Minute brand’s jasmine rice with crunchy, 100% whole grain red quinoa.
Newman’s Own Inc. has introduced a new vinaigrette and marinade dressing and three new stone-fired crust pizzas.
The garlic vinaigrette and marinade has a suggested retail price of $3.99, while the stone-fired pizzas have a SRP of $7.29. All proceeds from the sale of the products go to organizations that help children.
Campbell Soup Co. and McCormick & Co. are partnering on another new Goldfish flavor: Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish crackers.
The new limited-edition variety includes Old Bay’s blend of 18 herbs and spices, including black pepper, paprika, celery salt and red pepper, giving the crackers what Campbell Soup describes as a “big, bold flavor combination that complements the classic, premium quality taste of Goldfish.”
