Krusteaz baking mixes

Continental Mills is expanding its line of Kruteaz baking mixes with the addition of Chocolate Swirl Crumb Cake and Muffin Mix, Chocolate Pie Bar Mix and Sweet Corn Cornbread and Muffin Mix. 

The new mixes are available nationwide at Walmart and Kroger at a suggested retail price of $2.85 for the cornbread mix and $3.75 for the chocolate pie bar and chocolate swirl crumb cake mixes.

White Lily baking mixes

Flour and cornmeal producer White Lily is launching five baking mixes for home cooks. The new mixes are available in chocolate fudge brownie, dark chocolate brownie, cinnamon crumb cake with cinnamon streusel topping, vanilla glazed pound cake and lemon glazed lemon pound cake flavors.

Wild About Bread single-pack mixes

Wild About Bread, a subsidiary of Rä Foods LLC, has launched a set of single pack flavor kits, including roasted garlic and herb, everything but the bagel, sweet onion and rustic white flavors.

The new flavor pack kits contain a bread mix base and a seasoning packet and will be available at select Kroger stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and on the company website at the suggested retail price of $4.99. Original Wild About Bread sets are available at $15.99 for a three pack of plain bread mixes.

DiGiorno breakfast croissant pizza

DiGiorno frozen pizza, a brand of Nestle USA, Inc., is launching DiGiorno Breakfast Croissant Crust Pizza this April.

The croissant crust pizza comes in eggs benedict-inspired, sausage and gravy and cinnamon roll flavors. It is currently the only croissant-style breakfast pizza in the frozen food market and is available at the suggested retail price of $9.29.

Hostess Boost Jumbo Donettes

Hostess Brands, Inc. is expanding its donut lineup with the debut of caffeinated Hostess Boost Jumbo Donettes in two flavors: chocolate mocha and caramel macchiato. Each donut contains between 50 to 70 mg of caffeine, which Hostess said is slightly less than one cup of coffee.

The lightly glazed Jumbo Donettes are three times bigger than original Hostess Donettes mini donuts and are caffeinated with coffee bean extract.

Eggo grab-and-go waffles

The Kellogg Co.’s Eggo brand is debuting grab-and-go Belgian Liège-style waffles, targeted at busy parents.

The individually wrapped waffles do not require toaster preparation and are available in buttery maple and strawberry flavors. The brioche dough-based waffles also contain crunchy bits of pearl sugar.

Kellogg Co.’s Pop-Tarts brand is launching a snickerdoodle flavored toaster pastry this May.

The new snickerdoodle flavor will be the company’s third cookie-inspired toaster pastry, joining the frosted chocolate chip and cookies and crème varieties.

Each serving of Maple Waffle Crisp contains 4 grams of fiber and 22 grams of whole grains. The cereal also features chickpeas.

Proper Good mint chocolate chip oatmeal

Proper Good has launched mint choc chip oats, the newest flavor in its pre-cooked, shelf-stable oatmeal line. The steel cut oats base comes in a microwavable, BPA-free pouch and is gluten-free, plant-based and vegan, as is the mint chocolate chip stir-in flavor packet.

The ready-to-eat oatmeal is available on the company website for a one-time price of $6.99 or subscription pricing of $5.59.

The Kellogg Co. has started a social media campaign to promote its three upcoming Frosted Flakes flavors: strawberry milkshake, chocolate and cinnamon French toast. 

The flavors will be available at retailers nationwide beginning in May.
